Vintage WWII Era US Navy Silverplate Tray w/ Handles Friedman Silver Co 1741 FSC. This listing is for a vintage silver plated serving tray from Friedman Silver Co. From around the 1940’s. It is a heavy, robust piece! On the other trays out there, there is a U. Mark on the bottom. Unfortunately there is damage on the bottom of this piece that hides where that mark would usually be, so I cannot confirm for sure if it has it or not. The other maker mark is still present, showing FSC 1741 18. Numbered markers on this piece include. Dimensions: Approximately 20.5″ long (including the handles) by 13″ wide. It is very shallow height-wise. CONDITION: Decent vintage condition. This tray has been recently shined to remove tarnish. There are scratches and damage marks throughout the piece, on both the top and bottom. The handles are sturdy. This is a cool WWII era piece of history! Don’t like the price?
