Up for sale is a beautiful Gorham serving platter/tray in a silver plated finish. Unlike most silver serving trays, this one has a very muted and simple border design that doesn’t appear too flashy or wild. Its large size makes it perfect for a mini liquor bottle display, a monster cheese plate or even a serving tray for a whole roast Turkey. It measures 22″ x 15 1/2″. The fluted border is approximately 1 wide. I polished it to bring out the shine and aside from a few scuffs, there’s no plating loss. I’m not sure of the date but there’s a small square with Maltese cross stamped inside of it. That was a late 1880s date mark but this is much more contemporary. I’d guess 1930-40s.
