Vintage Serving Tray Silver Plated Pierced Hand Etched Gallery Tray Persian

This is for a very unusual large footed Silver Plated handled tray. The piece has no makers marks on it for me to give a maker or date. 20 inches long x 15.75 inches wide x 4 inches to top of the handles. I would believe it to be from the early 1900’s due to the style of craftsmanship. The intricate pattern would have taken countless hours to create, please zoom in on the pictures to see the hand work involved. It would have been hand crafted as the patterns that are etched are not all mirrored and precise in the sizes of the designs. The edges also are pierced with holes that are obviously hand done as the sizes vary and even the amount of metal removed varies. The shape is in wonderful condition with no dents or dings. Being as old as the piece is there are minor issues that can be seen in pictures where the silver plate is missing (there is a pen pointed at the issues). There are also circle rings from drinks in the center and edge, where perhaps wet items were left for a period of time. Silver plated items need to be kept dry and not left with water on them for any long period of time or will cause damage. Obviously once items are placed on top it will be less noticeable! I see this lovely piece used to hold an ornate tea set, set on a coffee table to place candle holders on or perhaps on a dressing table for special perfume bottles and old brushes, it has so many wonderful diverse uses! I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. Please let me know if need any addition pictures or clarification on the pictures I have posted. The items in the pictures are the exact item you will be receiving, unless I have multiple of the same item and the quality will be the exact same as the ones pictured. I show any imperfections I can in the pictures. Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear. Elegant vintage Sheridan Silver Company silverplate footed samovar coffee urn with lid and burner. The samovar has an ornate raised design of scrolls, flowers and leaves on the finial, handles, spigot, feet and base. It is marked on the bottom of the burner base with the Sheridan Silver Company Crown mark. 20″ tall with lid and 12″ wide from handle to handle. Original vintage condition with typical surface wear for its age and plenty tarnish and. Wear spots in some places. The legs are a dark gray as well as dark ring accents in the handles. I believe a Sterno Burner is used to heat the contents of the urn. It did not come with. Very Good Condition, Very Clean! Well taken care of. Case measures 35mm excluding the crown with 19mm lugs. Hands turning smooth when setting the time. Also day and date function are real easy to turn / flip. Band is handmade unbranded ostrich skin. Crystal is clear and scratch free. Note: Always set day and date with the hour hand between 4 & 6 to avoid breaking the watch. Do not flip day/date too fast or too often for best care. Avoid using manual wind with automatic vintage watches as it is not necessary to put the wear on the watch. Motion will charge the watch with less stress on the parts of the watch. The wristwatch looks good for its age. The bracelet and the case present some signs of wear, as you can see from the pictures no 9, 10, 11 and 12. The layer of gold dissapeared from some areas.
