An Absolutely Impressive Samovar Urn Indeed! SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER. SAMOVAR URN w/DISPENSER TAP HANDLED SPOUT. So shiny is this piece that it is most difficult to photograph without back drop images! This 20 1/4 inch tall samovar urn is most impressive in the embossed. Floral & scroll designs to the finial, handle, dispenser tap handled spout and feet. Beautiful wasp bodied form/shape with ribbed sidings. A functional burner pot with wick is included (see photos #4 & #5), though not the original. Correlates beautifully with this urn. The spout tap handle easily lowers down. Releasing flow of liquid contents from within the urn (see photo #7), and lifts up with ease to stop. Flow of liquid – no leakage! The three 3 scrolled legs and finial. Shows some light wear, or just needs additional polishing. There is a patch of plate loss to. One side of the lid’s top surface (see photo #8). The interior has no corrosion or pitting. Just a very light coat of stain (see photo #9), though can be scrubbed clean with a. Mild abrasive cleanser as Bon Ami. The underside of this samovar urn has not been polished. (see photo #10), and could use some polishing if desired, though this area does not deter. From the outer facial appearance. No obvious dings or dents.
