I believe the urn was made after 1940. This samovar is unique that it is able to tip forward or can be removed from the stand and rest on four legs on the table, the resting base, and the wick holder. The samovar stands 15″ tall by 9.5″ wide (from spout to handle). The bottom of tea pot is marked Silver on Copper, (crown) BSC Co. The samovar is in wonderful condition, hand polished and ready to use. I would not hesitate to drink coffee or tea from this samovar. Condition: Excellent Preowned Condition. Freshly hand polished and ready to use, usual light scratches from age. We are a dealer in General Antiques, we are not an expert in every category of antiques.
