They have not been played in years so i’m guessing they will both need an overhaul pads, etc. Mouthpiece looks non original with no markings on it. Tuning neck wheels still both turn. Gorgeous four-piece tea and coffee service on matching tray. Beautiful bright-cut floral pattern; elegant baluster shape; acorn finials. The tray is raised on bird claw feet and is two-handled. Great vintage condition, almost no cleaning inside is needed. Fantastic condition, no loss of silvering, very clean inside. All my silverplated items have been given a quick polish with. Which are advertised as plating solutions. Whilst they wont silver plate your copper (contrary to what they may claim), I do recommend them for taking care of silver plated items in particular, as they wont strip off the thin silver layer, unlike silver cleaning products. Probably used Originally as a tray to hold 4 decanters this is a nice heavy quality piece of silver plate dating from the early to middle part of the last century it is 10.5 (27cm) square and stands well on 4 splayed pad feet. The ornate cut rail rises 9cm to archways at each corner and in the centres of the rail, most importantly of all the central cartouche is clear and unused. Here for sale is a vintage Victorian Reed & Barton large 24.5 waiter/butler tray. The bottom of the tray is stamped Reed & Barton 06700, D4, 24 1/2 V Victorian. The bottom of the tray has some visible scratches and wear. The top of the tray is in very good condition with only light scratching and minor tarnish. The design is well preserved and in my opinion still looks very good. Please refer to pictures for condition. The piece is quite heavy at about 8lbs 10oz. I don’t think this was used much and possibly never polished as it took quite a bit of elbow grease to get it to this condition! I was able to remove the sticker to polish & it had enough adhesive left to re-stick it! It is 17″ across at its widest, and about 1-1/4″ high. The feet are reticulated.
