“Vintage” aka “Grape” Pattern Silver Plate Flatware, 32 Pieces. The pattern was introduced in 1904. The curved silver plate blades on the knives are the earliest form of blade used with this pattern. The lot consists of 10 Knives, 11 Forks, 10 Table Spoons and a Sugar Spoon. The pieces have been used but not abused. No loss of silver plating, no through heel wear. Typical signs of use and polishing. See below for particulars. 10 Knives, 9 3/4 long. The blades are in very good condition, no plate wear or bubbling. No dents in the handles. 3 extra knives, not shown, will be included, they have edge wear and bubbling on their blades. 11 Forks, 7 1/2 long. No bent tines or tine tip wear. 10 Table Spoons, 8 1/4 long. These show less use than the other pieces. One spoon has dark spots on the back side edge of its bowl, either very stubborn tarnish or possible pits, see last photo. Sugar Spoon, 6 long. No problems, typical polishing marks. All the pieces have been recently polished. Never put silver plate flatware in the dish washer, you will ruin it. Marks, on the knife blades, 1847 Rogers Bros. On the other pieces, 1847 Rogers Bros. Together, the 32 pieces weigh, 5 pounds, 3 ounces. Color: The photo’s colors are true to life. Please take a good look at the photos as they constitute the remainder of our description.
