Quality Original Vintage Canteen of Cutlery English Silver Plate Very Attractive and Typically Art Deco Stepped Design Oak Box. Large Complete 49-Piece Set. 1 Large Carving Knife. 1 Large Knife Sharpener. 1 Large Roast Fork. Elkington & Co – Stainless – Cutlers & Silversmiths, England. Punch marks on the spoons and forks. Large items are stainless steel. Very good vintage condition. The Cutlery is all in very good/excellent order with no plate loss and no missing items. The wooden box is also in beautiful condition with no damage and just minor signs of age as you would expect. Internally, it is nice and clean with no damage/rips to the liner. Vintage 1847 Pair of Victorian Elkington Silver Plate Greyhound Dog Paperweights A pair of small antique mid 19th century silver plate Victorian desktop models of greyhounds, made by Elkington & Co, and with the Elkington date code for 1847. The finely detailed models depict recumbent greyhounds raised upon a naturalistic rectangular base and the front & rear edges fully marked with the early Elkington’E&Co’ silver plate marks and matching date codes’7′ in a lozenge (for 1847). UNUSUAL VINTAGE ELKINGTON SILVER PLATE & AMBER GLASS HONEY BEE HONEY POT. This lovely honey pot is in the form of a honey bee and was made by Elkington. It is stamped underneath:’Elkington Plate England W11518′. We believe it to date from the first half of the twentieth century. The bee has a silver-plated head with hinged silver-plated wings and an amber glass body to hold the honey. No spoon is present. Condition: Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The metalware is tarnished and there is some wear to the plating. The antennae aare slightly bent. The glass body is a little grubby and has some minor nibbling. Measurements are as follows. 8cm high, 18cm long, 14cm wide. Hello and welcome to. English Silver Plate and Ruby Glass Bee Honey Pot made by Elkington & Co. I saw others very similar made by Mappin &Webb. This one is NOT the case. This one is Elkington. I just found interesting the fact that they seem to be identical. This honey pot has hinged wings and and it suppose to have a detachable removable ruby glass body however in this item the ruby body is STUCK , I can not remove it. Seems like the previous owner glued it for some strange reason. You can see the glue remainings still there. Also please note that one of its antennas is broken / missing. Stamped underneath the wings. 3 5 2 0 6. Please keep an eye in my store. Check out my other items. 6″ x 3 1/2″ approximately. The ruby body is STUCK , I can not remove it. Expect signs of age like discoloration, scratches, etc. You get what you see in the pics. What you do not see, you do not get. Ask me if you need more photos or need some further explanations.
