Antique Silver-plated Samovar Vintage /hot water warmer / ornate Tall English

This is for a beautiful / wonderful condition. Circa early 1900’s. The wonderful body of the item sits on. It has both a working tap and burner. The shape is that of a large urn or vase which holds hot water or tea. The main body of the urn is of Classical design with urn finial and base. The piece has dramatic large raised handles with Prince of Wales feather design on them. This piece measure approx 12 3/4″ wide x 12″ deep x 22 3/4 in height. It is in good condition with no noticeable silver plate missing or scratches. The only issue was a pin sized leak on the spout which I had professionally fixed, please note the zoomed in picture. It does not leak and has a good flow of liquids from the spout. I have run it many times and tested the flow. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. Please let me know if need any addition pictures or clarification on the pictures I have posted. The items in the pictures are the exact item you will be receiving, unless I have multiple of the same item and the quality will be the exact same as the ones pictured. I show any imperfections I can in the pictures. Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear. Antique VTG F B Rogers Silver Company 1883 Plated Coffee Urn Samovar 16 Tall. For your consideration is a silver plated coffee urn/Samovar. Made by FB Rogers Silver Company. Stamped on bottom with makers mark and number 1883. It is fully functional. It holds liquid and spigot does not leak. Condition: It is in good useable condition, but not perfect. We polished it for photos, but to make it perfect it would probably need a more another pass. I personally would use it as is. There is a dent on front right side next to base of handle. There is slight scuffing and signs of use. There remnants of polishing paste in the crevices. Spigot handle is a bit wobbly, but fully functional. This seems to be common with vintage pieces, because they loosen over time with use. Overall Review: I have used this piece myself. It’s always brought a certain elegance to my parties. No one has ever mentioned the ding. If you’re a perfectionist this piece may not be for you. If you don’t mind a little “history” you’ll be very pleased. It’s a spectacular piece, and ready to use. Size: The urn is 16 inches tall. It is 11 inches wide from handle to handle. It weighs 5 pounds five ounces. It’s nice and heavy which makes it easy to use. Inv: 15385-x 5.5.0 2 eb boxes. This elegant silverplate urn is just right for a festive occasion. It has a stand that lets you tilt the pot and a burner to keep the water or coffee hot. An Absolutely Impressive Samovar Urn Indeed! SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER. SAMOVAR URN w/DISPENSER TAP HANDLED SPOUT. So shiny is this piece that it is most difficult to photograph without back drop images! This 20 1/4 inch tall samovar urn is most impressive in the embossed. Floral & scroll designs to the finial, handle, dispenser tap handled spout and feet. Beautiful wasp bodied form/shape with ribbed sidings. A functional burner pot with wick is included (see photos #4 & #5), though not the original. Correlates beautifully with this urn. The spout tap handle easily lowers down. Releasing flow of liquid contents from within the urn (see photo #7), and lifts up with ease to stop. Flow of liquid – no leakage! The three 3 scrolled legs and finial. Shows some light wear, or just needs additional polishing. There is a patch of plate loss to. One side of the lid’s top surface (see photo #8). The interior has no corrosion or pitting. Just a very light coat of stain (see photo #9), though can be scrubbed clean with a. Mild abrasive cleanser as Bon Ami. The underside of this samovar urn has not been polished. An Absolutely Impressive Samovar Urn Indeed! 18 (CROWN SYMBOL) 83. FB ROGERS SILVER CO. SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER. SAMOVAR URN w/DISPENSER TAP HANDLED SPOUT. (NO BURNER POT INCLUDED). So shiny is this piece that it is most difficult to photograph without back drop images! This 15 1/2 inch tall samovar urn is most impressive in the embossed. Floral & scroll designs to the finial, handles, dispenser tap handled spout and legged feet. The spout tap handle manually tilts downward releasing flow of liquid contents from within. The urn (see photo #4), though does not position down completely by itself , therefore. Has to be held down slightly to manually expel the fluid from within this urn. The handles and finial shows some light wear, or just needs additional polishing. The interior has no corrosion or pitting, just areas stain to the base (see photo #8). Though can be scrubbed clean with a mild abrasive cleanser as Bon Ami. The underside of this samovar urn has not been polished and shows tarnish. Though if desired, can be polished, this area does not deter. From the outer facial appearance. There are a few shallow crack lines around the upper. Portion of the body neck (see photos #2 & #7), though quite faint and not overly noticeable. These minute cracks do not exhibit any cause of leakage. Just a light facial abstraction to the outer surface. There are no obvious dings or dents, nor signs plate loss to the body. There is no burner pot included, though a small shallow bowl/dish with a votive candle works great!
