A beautifully sculpted metal horse figurine, with fine detail, wearing an English style hunt seat saddle and bridle with snaffle bit. This vintage piece is mounted on a black wood base. There are numbers between the front legs and a faint embellished rectangle above them which does not have enough relief to read. The horse appears to be a Thoroughbred race horse or jumper type. The horse alone measures 9 3/4″ tall by 12″ long. Overall size is 10 3/8″ tall by 13 1/4″ long. Similar in quality to Jennings Bros. K&O (Kronheim & Oldenbusch), and Gladys Brown Edwards (Dodge) sculptures.
