Vintage Silver Paten & Edwardian Silver Goblet. Vintage heavy solid silver communion paten with associated Edwardian silver goblet. The paten is fully hallmarked for London 1988 and also stamped with the makers mark for Mappin & Webb. Approximately 14.7cms in diameter and 2.4cms in height. Good gauge of silver, approximately 202g in weight. The pedestal goblet is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1907 and also has the makers mark for Mappin & Webb. Approximately 12cms in height, with a diameter of 8.2cms across the top and 5.6cms across the foot. The paten is in good vintage condition with just a little age related wear, nice clear hallmarks. This stunning original antique Edwardian festoon necklace dates to circa 1910. The materials are silver plate and glass. The workmanship is outstanding. It is a real statement piece. The necklace measures approx 16.5 inches in length. The central pendant measures approx 54mm (L) x 53mm (W) excluding the dangling chains. The two smaller sections measure 40mm (L) x 34.5mm (W). The bezel set blue glass stones are square faceted and measure approx. 13mm (L) x 13mm (W) x approx. 6.5mm (D) each. Their color is s dreamy mid-tone ocean blue. The condition is excellent with no damage and light wear consistent with age. The clasp is good working order. Please see photos for more details.
