Vintage Reed Barton Winthrop (Pumpkin) 1795 Silver plate Coffee/Tea Set with tray

The Reed & Barton Winthrop 1795 silver plate design was nicknamed the “pumpkin” style for its vessels’ bulbous fluting, as well as the ornamental pumpkins that top the enclosed pieces. This set includes the Coffee Pot, Tea Pot, Sugar Bowl, and Creamer (pitcher) plus a heavy, ornamented Waiter’s Tray. These belonged to my grandparents, and hasn’t been used for 20 years. Large waiters tray measuring: 30″ by 21″. “Tall and from handle to spout is 11″. 12″ tall from handle to spout is 11″. Stands 8″ from handle to handle is 8″. Stands 7 1/2″ tall from handle to spout 5 1/2″ all pieces are match. A small ding in creamer, look at pix, I did my best to get ding in the pix. Tray has some wear and scratches please see the pictures for more detail. Over all, the condition is good. Liquid Capacity of Pot is Approximately 42 Fluid Ounces. Height: Top Edge of Handles is 7 1/2 Inches. Width: Widest Base Diameter is 6 1/2 Inches. Total Weight of this Tilt Pot Set is 5 Pounds 6 Ounces Much More Beautiful than these Photos Portray! Good to Very Good Vintage Condition Overall!! NO EXTERIOR SILVER PLATE LOSS! There is only one small dimple to one side of the upper surface of the stand, and not overly obvious unless viewed closely. The pot interior exhibits some light silver plate loss, where light copper is exposed note that copper is non-toxic. The burner pot has a few small facial cracks, though does not leak as was tested. Vintage Silverplated Gorham Strasbourg Coffee/Tea Service with Serving Tray

For you consideration is this vintage silverplated Coffee/Tea Service with Serving Tray. It includes the following. Serving tray measuring 26 inches X 19 inches. Backmarked Gorham EP YC777. Coffe Pot measuring 10 inches high with attached lid. Bottom marked Gorham Strasbourg EP YC3130. Tea pot measuring 8 inches high. It had an attached lid but the solder that held the lid has broken. I believe this would be an easy fix as there is no damage to site. Bottom marked Gorham Strasbourg EP YC3131. Creamer measuring 6 inches high. Bottom marked Gorham Strasbourg YC3133 (not sure of the first). Covered sugar bowl measuring 6 inches at the peak. Bottom marked Gorham Strasbourg EP YC3132. The tray has numerous light scratches. The coffee pot has some light staining as a result of not being polished regularly but I see no pitting. The tea pot also has light staining from neglect and 4 tiny pits on the bottom. Also the lid issue previously mentioned. The creamer also has some light staining which should be easily removed with more polishing. I did not see any issues with the sugar bowl. NOTE: SINCE I FIRST LISTED THIS, IT HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED SO IS ONCE AGAIN IN NEED OF A GOOD CLEANING. Doing that is against. The free listing tool. Moderate signs of use and a few scratches on the pot, creamer and sugar bowl with lid. No dents or deep gauges. The tray has abrasions from use and display but no significant damage. Coffe Pot measuring 10 7/8 inches high with attached lid. Bottom marked Gorham Y1601—2 3/4 pint w 5 hallmarks. Tea pot measuring 9 inches high. It had an attached lid. Bottom marked Gorham Y1603—2 1/2 pint w 5 hallmarks. Creamer measuring 6 inches high. Bottom marked Gorham Y1604—3/4 pint w 5 hallmarks. Covered sugar bowl measuring 6 3/4 inches at the peak. Bottom marked Gorham Y1605 w 5 hallmarks. Waste bowl 5 3/4 inches. Bottom marked Y1603 w 5 hallmarks. The tray has numerous light scratches and needs cleaning on bottom. Please note this is a heavy ornate tea set. The coffee pot has some light staining as a result of not being polished regularly but I see no pitting but needs some cleaning. The tea pot also needs some cleaning. I did not see any issues with the sugar bowl, creamer, or waste bow. Good condition from a high end local estate. Please see pictures and ask questions. Vintage 20s Sheffield silver plate 4pc coffee/tea set floral bright-cut bakelite

Beautiful 1920s silver plated coffee and tea service decorated with a bright-cut floral and geometric pattern; the pots have bakelite handles and finials. Made by T Land & Son, Sheffield. Great vintage condition, very clean inside, almost no wear to silvering. Dent inside the sugar bowl (not visible from outside); small dent in base of teapot; small bump in coffee pot; light wear to silvering on coffee pot. If you’re interested in vintage, particularly silver and silver plate – add me to your followed sellers and be the first to know when I list new items! All my silver and silver plated items have been given a quick polish with. Which are advertised as plating solutions. Whilst they wont silver plate your copper (contrary to what they may claim), I do recommend them for taking care of silver plated items in particular, as they wont strip off the thin silver layer, unlike silver cleaning products.
