AMAZING c1890 VICTORIAN QUADRUPLE SILVER PLATE FIGURAL CHERUBS CENTERPIECE BOWL. Listed this week is an Amazing assortment of Sterling and Solid Silver from all over the world. This is one of our finest collections to date including some very Rare Georg Jensen examples etc. Also we have listed some fabulous Estate Treasures including fine Bronze Statues, Boxes, Paintings, Chinese and Japanese Arts and much, much more! The Stand is marked for the fine Victorian Period American Silversmiths the Wilcox Company and would date c1890. The Stand features 3 large amazing fully figured Winged Cherubs whose details are some of the best I have ever seen. The Stand is also finely etched with a Cherub scene ontop where the Glass Bowl sits, which I have not seen before. The Glass Bowl is incredibly well and finely cut throughout with a wonderful sawtooth border. The entire Centerpiece Bowl is in amazing condition, I believe someone has gone to the expense of having the Silver repaired in a few spots and replated as it is shiny and beautiful with no wear. The Glass Bowl is also in excellent condition with only some small chips to the sawtooth border but no cracks or repairs. The Centerpiece is very large and makes an incredible display measuring approx 11-1/4″ wide by 11-1/2″ tall overall or the Stand alone measures 8″ tall by 4-3/4″ wide across the top and the Bowl itself sits 4 tall.
