VINTAGE Barker Ellis huge 22.5 silver plated engraved & pierced gallery tray
A magnificent large silver plated gallery tray made by the top quality silversmiths Barker Ellis in Sheffield, England. It’s one of the largest of it’s type that I have seen measuring 22.5″ x 15″ and weighing over 3kg. The base of the tray is beautifully engraved with a scrolling pattern of flowers and leaves around a central cartouche. The pierced gallery has a gadrooned edge and cut out handles at either end. The tray is mounted on four bun feet. It’s marked underneath with the Barker Ellis menorah logo. The photos don’t really do justice to this super decorative item, you can’t appreciate the quality and feel of it. In excellent condition, there are no dents, the silver plate is very good with no wear. DIMENSIONS : 57.5cm x 39cm and 9cm deep. Please read the following. Item: Complete 67 piece set of Vintage (1991) Oneida Silversmiths “Silver Arbor” Silverplate Flatware with it’s own wooden, fabric lined case. The set contains service for 12, with the serving pieces. This is a vintage item that has had absolutely minimal use, perhaps even just 1 time. Pieces have been hand washed and dried immediately after use. NOTE: There is some tarnishing on the serving pieces but that can be easily removed. From a non-smoker’s home, kept in a dry environment. Vintage Reed & Barton Large Waiter Tray 06700 Victorian 24.5 Silver Plate
Here for sale is a vintage Victorian Reed & Barton large 24.5 waiter/butler tray. The bottom of the tray is stamped Reed & Barton 06700, D4, 24 1/2 V Victorian. The bottom of the tray has some visible scratches and wear. The top of the tray is in very good condition with only light scratching and minor tarnish. The design is well preserved and in my opinion still looks very good. Please refer to pictures for condition. The piece is quite heavy at about 8lbs 10oz.
