A Lovely Pouring Tilt Pot w/Stand & Burner Pot Indeed! SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER TILTING COFFEE/TEA/WATER BOILING KETTLE. W/FOOTED STAND & BURNER POT. Gorgeous Embossed Designs to the Kettle Pot & Stand! No Corrosion or Pitting to the Interior! No noticeable plate loss except to a small area on the kettle hinge (which exposes brass). And rim edges to the burner pot and top of the kettle pot (which exposes light copper). The interior surface of the kettle is clean though has a slight tinge of stain or tarnish (see photo #10). The burner pot with original cotton wick functions perfectly stem turns right/left. To lift inner stem (holding a cotton wick) to open and down to close. Gas fluid used can either be kerosene, which does have an odor, or another option is a “clear lamp oil”. There are two (2) manufacturers of this oil that I know of, one is “Medallion”. Possibly there are other manufacturers of this “clear lamp oil” available on the internet. Light scratches and scuffs due to all pieces in this set do to use and/or storage.
