RARE Vintage Hotel Utah Meat Dome Entree Serving Tray, Silver Plate. This piece is a rarity. This great piece of nostalgia is from the historic Hotel Utah which debuted in 1911 and closed in 1987. This is a domed serving tray from that historic hotel. It does have scratches and dings all throughout the piece but it is still in great shape considering its age. The tray measures 20.5″ X 15.5″ X 3. The dome measures 19″ X 14″ X 7.5 not including the handle on top. This is a rather large piece big enough to fit a good sized turkey. For sale is an exceptional Edwardian engraved silver plate meat dome cover. With handle made in 1905 by Elkington & Co. With a footed platter tray tree with well by the International Silver Company. The meat dome cover is 14-1/4″ long by 10-7/8″ wide by 6″ tall 8″ to top of. Handle, clearly hallmarked with the maker’s mark in two places, and the date. Letter “T” for 1905. Each side of the dome cover is ornately decorated with an. Elaborate cartouche: one side has a pair of family armorial crests a wedding. The other side has a highly stylized monogram. The footed platter tray with a gadrooned border is 16-1/2″ long by 12″ wide by. Marked on the bottom CASTLETON BY INTERNATIONAL SILVER. COMPANY, and Model 680. Very good overall condition, overall plating on both the dome cover and platter. Tray still bright and clear. A small ding in the meat dome cover. Offered for sale is this set of 8 vintage French figural silverplate meat skewers. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. The skewers vary slightly in length (because of the size of the animal handles), most are between 8 and 9 inches long. All 8 are in excellent condition.
