Up for sale is a. Stainless steel back, chrome plated top 1940’s Wakmann mans chronograph, model 422. This chronograph is 34mm in diameter not including the crown or pushers. The silver dial with multicolored print is in nice original condition. There is a slight amount of loss to the luminous on the hands. The chrome plated case top, pushers and crown all show some wear. The 17 jewel movement is a Valjoux 92 is in good running condition and the chronograph functions properly. I don’t know the last time it was serviced, so it may benefit from a cleaning. The movement and inside case back are marked Britix Watch Co. Please view the photos and ask questions as needed. CHASE COPPER & BRASS COMPANY. With Creamer and Sugar Bowl. Coffee urn includes original plug, and basket. Designed by Walter Von Nessen, circa 1930s. The urn is 10″ 1/2″ wide (handle to handle), 8 1/2″ diameter, and 12″ high. With Chase logo on base of urn and stamped with chase logo on creamer/sugar. This piece is in really nice condition! There is some light scuffing and general wear. Around the bottom area around the spigot there is a little more wear, but some of this might come off if cleaned. The spigot does not turn but does not appear corroded so might just need some extra force. There is a crack in the top side of the bakelite base, but this is fairly minor – the other bakelite pieces appear free of cracks. The lid handle has been pushed down to one side a little, the handle twists off so the metal might be pushed back into shape a little effort. There is one small flat dent, smaller than a dime, close to one of the handles. Very rare piece in nice condition, with all the pieces of the urn. The creamer a stain on the inside, and the sugar bowl has a small split in the bakelite handle – but these two pieces are in fairly nice condition. The pen comes fitted with it’s original Waterman’s Ink Convertor, this can be removed in favour of Waterman Ink Refills both bottled ink and ink refills are not included. The Waterman’s cardboard case is original to the pen along with the filling instructions, the case is damaged at one side and has some ink staining inside. New after market license plate cover from the late 50’s or early 60s. About 12 and 1/4 x 6 and 1/4. Should fit most cars. The chrome has a few little blemishes on it from being stored. The metal back place has a few patches of surface rust on it. The plastic lens is slightly warped, but I think it is still usable. It is a very thin piece of plexi glass and the little tabs on the metal backing pushed on it for years as it was being stored. It shouldn’t be too hard to replace the plastic, or just not use it.
