This stunning original antique Edwardian festoon necklace dates to circa 1910. The materials are silver plate and glass. The workmanship is outstanding. It is a real statement piece. The necklace measures approx 16.5 inches in length. The central pendant measures approx 54mm (L) x 53mm (W) excluding the dangling chains. The two smaller sections measure 40mm (L) x 34.5mm (W). The bezel set blue glass stones are square faceted and measure approx. 13mm (L) x 13mm (W) x approx. 6.5mm (D) each. Their color is s dreamy mid-tone ocean blue. The condition is excellent with no damage and light wear consistent with age. The clasp is good working order. Please see photos for more details. Estate sale find- I know nothing about them : I can only describe them. The daughter of estate sale said theyre very old. She estimated at least 1940/50. She didnt know where her mom got them from. There are no stamps or markings. They were dirty when I got them and I was able to polish them up. Whatever they are made of it is plated. The pedestals are HEAVY. The top parts are not. The cobalt blue glass bowl is full of bubbles. The glass has crazing and stress lines but no actual cracks or chips. The glass is thick! The bowl alone weighs 2 and half pounds. Its 3 tall and 7 1/2 wide. The lid for that has a handle thats a child riding a fish. I have no way of knowing what the turquoise stones are made of. Examine photos carefully as thats the best way to determine the answers to your questions. Pedestal bowl- 11 1/4 wide & 7 1/2 tall. Pedestal serving dish with cobalt blue bowl with lid -10 1/2 inches tall 8 1/2 inches wide. Serving tray- 12 1/4. The pattern is O417, circa 1916 to 1930, without question the precursor to Blue Tree c. The Plate is crafted of fine ivory Lenox china with floral enhancement. The china has the unique translucency of the earlier Lenox that has not been repeated. Sterling rim is almost 1″ at 15/16″. China itself is without damage, the glaze is consistent and remains highly glossy. Sterling silver frame is in beautiful condition and the color is consistent. Have more Lenox listed.
