Talk about an awesome piece of Fenton Art Glass, this is it! A beautiful Footed Cake Plate Stand made by the Fenton Art Glass Company. The plate is done in a Turquoise glass, complemented with a silver crest crimped edge. Measures 5″ high, 13″ top diameter with a 5 base diameter. There are a couple of seed marks on the top surface along with a few specks of ash on the underside which were done during the manufacturing process. Small pieces of ash get through the air hose while the pieces are being blown. It sure would make a wonderful Christmas Gift! This is one gorgeous Fenton glass cake stand. Its beautiful milk glass turquoise color is magnificent with all the swirls throughout and finished with the silver/clear edged ruffles design that Fenton is famous for. Its in excellent condition with only one very minor smooth flake chip on the underside of one of the ruffles. It is unnoticeable unless you look and feel for it, I almost missed it when reviewing its condition. Youd never see it upon display or use. I tried to photograph it as best I could. Top has minuscule use surface scratches only visible upon scrutiny. The price certainly reflects this very minor defect, wont get another one this cheap.
