Original White Star Line 1st Class RMS Olympic Era Silver Plate Menu Stand RARE

VINTAGE ORIGINAL WHITE STAR LINE 1st CLASS SILVER PLATE MENU STAND – 1910’s/1920’s. It is made from a heavy gauge metal, with weight to it and it has been silver plated. There are no makers marks other than the house flag of the White Star Line, which is stamped to the back side of the base. There is a clip where a menu would be inserted behind the star and held in place. It measures approximately 2 1/8″ wide by 1 3/8″ deep and approximately 2 high. This one is in excellent overall condition for something 100+ years old and it has retained most of its silver plate luster. This would have been used onboard any number of steamships during the 1910’s and 1920’s in 1st class dining saloons during the RMS Titanic and Olympic period and beyond. It has some signs of onboard use with a few small scratches and some light wear to the back clip. These are so hard to find and I know it will display beautifully in a collection!! Authentic White Star Line Toast Rack Pre RMS Olympic Elkington Silver Plate 1903

VINTAGE ORIGINAL WHITE STAR LINE 1st CLASS LARGE 6 SLOT TOAST RACK – ELKINGTON SILVER PLATE – 1903. This one is made by Elkington and has a silver plate date stamp with the letter R in a barrel, dating this to 1903. It has the house flag of the White Star Line stamped on one side of the very ornate and decorative beaded handle area. This one is larger than some others I’ve seen and is mounted on ball shaped feet. It measures approximately 7″ X 3 1/4″ X 5 5/8 high. It is in very good overall condition for something 100+ years old. It would have been used onboard any number of steamships in 1st class dining saloons during the late Victorian era into the early Edwardian period and beyond. Most likely from steamships such as the RMS Cedric, the Baltic, the Adriatic, or perhaps even the Olympic, to name a few. It has signs of a long career, showing a few clunks and bumps with some bent areas from years of use, but it will still display beautifully in a collection!! This is an EX Cellent boot! A stupendous set-up for somebody who is a ladies 7 narrow. Actually a figure or ice boot its heavily padded and reinforced, leather inside and out. I put used, but I dont know if these were ever even skated. If they were, it was brief. Sponge tongue is intact, not crumbling.
