Exceptional Vintage Silver Williams & Adams Tri Clam Shell Biscuit Bun Warmer. Description: This biscuit warmer is truly an exceptional table accessory. Made in England by Williams & Adams this piece was probably top of the line. When you open it up reveals three detailed compartments, each covered with a hand chased cover, lavish gold gilt sits in each of the three holders, and because this piece has been stored for many many years the gold is in excellent condition, bright, shiny and not missing and large sections! The spring loaded mechanism that holds the lids in place still works perfectly, they are nice and tight – absolutely no repairs or replacements. The hinges are also in great condition and all work perfectly. The clam shell exterior has no dings or dents, just patina from storage. Fully signed on the underside. As with all pre-owned items there will be some signs of age and use. We store all our items and will need cleaning or polishing on arrival.
