A vintage mechanical watch RAKETA “Antarctic” produced by “Petrodvorets Watch Plant”, Russia, approximately in the 1980s. Vintage retro watch, about 40 years old. Beautiful design: a glistering silver dial with black odd Arabic numerals, silver non-numeric hour marks with black inserts and black hands in a gold-plated case with a black insert around the dial (the “AU” mark is on its surface). Rotating bezel with the names of world cities, so different time zones can be set. 24 hour dial produced for people with a shift schedule, submariners and polar explorers – with the help of this watch they could understand the time of the day (day or night) and to set the beginning of the shift and to track its ending. New beautiful leather strap. Soviet 19 jewels 2623 mechanism (there’s the “SU” mark on it and the inscription “Made in the USSR” under the hands). TESTED by a professional master.
