A quite fabulous early 19th Century hallmarked silver pair of items. It has a most attractive shape. One is dated 1807 and by top makers William Burwash and Richard Sibley. The other is dated 1836 and by rare makers Thomas Mitchell, James Burden and Thomas Merrifield. Each is a wonderful oval meat plate (refer to image). Each is 16 inches in width. Depth is 11 inches. Height is 0.75 inch. A wonderful set of highly unusual meat plates. Definitely one for the collectors! A truly special antique lot well worth owning. The condition is excellent and all it needs is to be used. Each is engraved with a divine armorial and always has been. Would make a very nice present indeed. Each lovely platter is of exceptional quality and is a most delightful piece of hefty table silver. Weight of silver is a staggering 2968 grams (95.43 troy ounces), each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.
