A stunning Martin Hall & Co. Silver plate fish serving set, 19th or early 20th century. Includes one (1) fish serving fork, approx. 9.75l and (1) fish serving knife, approx. Blades feature etched and pierced detailing, the knife being especially ornate with leafy vine and fish imagery. Handles feature twisted rope trims. Set’s in good/fair vintage condition, displaying wear consistent with age/use, including light surface scratching/rubbing and tarnish to the silver plate elements, a large split to the knife handle, and two small cracks with a large split to the fork handle – see pictures. Both are stamped with Martin Hall & Co’s M H & Co. ” silver plate hallmark, an electro plate “EP” shield mark, and a single letter mark (knife has an “O” and fork has a “V). A gorgeous antique pair!
