It is 25″ x 15″ x 1.5 and stands on ornate feet and is very heavy. The scrolling is very well done and just beautiful. This tray was presented and engraved in 1974 by Graniteville Company and presented to an employee for many years service. The engraving is lightly done, not very noticeable and in the center and does not detract from the piece, it actually adds an interesting historic element to it. The Graniteville Company was one of the earliest and most successful textile manufacturing operations in the South, chartered in 1845. The company was unusual in that it did not use the labor of black slaves as was common at the time. After WWII the company pioneered the production of permanent press fabric. You’ll love this tray.
