Description: This is an antique, about 1900, silverplated, lidded water serving pitcher by Tiffany & Company. Symbols on bottom: (Picture provided). The pattern’name’ is 3948. The 100 is the order number. The F is for the directorship at Tiffany when this was produced. The AGS symbol is the institution for which this was made, likely a high end club or hotel. The etched 467 is an in house catalogue/inventory number that cannot be traced nor does it impact value. Mostly likely used in a high end restaurant serving ware. Condition: The pitcher is in great condition considering its most likely use and age. There are no significant dents or scratches. It does have one noticeable mark provided in pictures. Please refer to pictures to determine condition. Piece does need polishing. One coat was applied but will need 2 to 3 for ultimate shine. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS (in inches).
