Art Deco Angular Silver Tea Service Antique 1920s Vintage Bauhaus Tea Set
Antique 1920’s art deco tea service in excellent condition. Very Bauhaus-influenced angular geometric style. Silverplate surface is super shiny and almost mirror-perfect. On very close inspection, teapot does have a crack in one seam, and the lid handle appears to have been soldered back on at some point and the solder wasn’t smoothed down. Tea pot handle is wrapped in wicker. Tray, sugar bowl and creamer all in excellent condition. There is no makers mark. Tray: 17.25″ x 10.5″ (19.25″ x 10.5″ with handles) Teapot: 4.5″ square at the bottom 6″ tall with lid Sugar Bowl and Creamer: 3″ square at the base 4″ tall. In the continental USA. Vintage French Silver Plated Cocktail Shaker. His elegant vintage French silver plated cocktail shaker is beautifully designed with a pattern of indentions and embossed rings encircling the shaker and the lid. The bottom bears the maker’s mark. This shaker is in very good condition with the exception of a few scratches due to age and normal use. The two parts fit rather tightly, so it requires a slight effort to open it. Vintage 5 Arms Candelabra Rococo French / Italy Style Ormolu Silver plated 16.5
This is for a wonderful ornate Rocco late Baroque / Louis XV style ca. 19th Century silver plated candelabra that holds 4 tapers. It is a beautiful piece and in very nice condition, with little wear of the silver. Please refer to pictures and zoom in to see the beauty. It is also fairly heavy. On the inside base there are markings that are hard to read. The markings seem to be F C or F G as are fairly clear to read but there seems to also be a longer word above and perhaps smaller initials above that. In researching I found a maker of these type of wonderful candelabras named Fernando Gilbert, but do not know if his. To me it doesn’t matter as the piece is so unique and. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible.
