Nice barely played Yani A4 Mark Vi inspired alto with a very nice deep tone. Excellent condition, no dinks or dents at all as far as I can see; silver plate is very good except some pitting in the finish on the rods (see picture), I suspect from leaking oil when it was sitting unplayed. It’s fresh from a refurb by Lewis at Sax co uk with 90% new pads and plays great top to bottom. I have the bill with work done. Vintage case candy includes period strap, original Yanakan 3 mouthpiece, Selmer S80 C and some ancient French reeds! Serial # is 7741 – does that make it 1977?
