This is a Vintage Silver Plate Entree Casserole Serving Dish. Two in One because the Top Converts to a Second Serving Dish. An old Z, Barraclough & Sons Silversmiths Leeds. Stunning Georgian Style Large & Very heavy Silver Entree Dish & Lid. Made by Z Barraclough & Sons. We think maybe made at the end of the Victorian period to Early 20th Century. The Entree has the benefit of being un-monogrammed and free from personalisation. This Entree has a beautiful and desirable rope boarding finishing to outside of both lid and dish and also carries through to the inside of the lid. The rope effect also continues through to the handle which is in a beautiful Georgian style finishing design. Has hallmarks stamped to base, and numbers on the lid and handle.
