The tea pot is attached to the base in the front with a hing and in the back with a pin. When the pin is displaced the tea pot can be lifted forward for pouring the tea. There are no monograms or dents and the silver plate is in good condition with no visible repairs. The burner looks to be original and fits properly.. There is no mark on the base of the tea pot to determine the maker or date of production.
