&####127927; Vintage Selmer Cigar Cutter Alto Saxophone &####127927;(SSS Selmer Super Sax) 1932. Up for sale is a Vintage Selmer Cigar Cutter Silver Plated Alto Saxophone from 1932 in good condition. Sax was just repaded and adjusted so it’s ready to play. The original silver plate is still at about 70% and it has no major dings but some small tiny dings in some parts. It has a little bit of wear on the low F and G# pearls but still work and feel fine on the fingers. It also seems the sax was made from a special order that came from the Selmer factory without the front F key. Will come in a Protec Case. $a£ Vintage Collect/play Legend Very Early Selmer Flugelhorn 4 Place Dancourt

LEGENDARY VERY EARLY SELMER FLUGELHORN 4 PLACE DANCOURT. PLESE READ DESCRIPTION IN FULL AND SEE ALL PHOTOS / ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE? Limiting part of my horn collection otherwise this horn would not be here. Antique vintage Selmer 4 PLACE DANCOURT which is I believe the first location of Selmer company. This is almost 100 years old legendary Selmer flugelhorn and one of the first in production below serial #500 which is #433. Personally I have never seen one from this early era before and its possible that not many were made or survived since Selmer made more trumpets and saxophones. Horn is in good condition and still plays. NOTE: THIS HORN WAS COMPLETELY WASHED INSIDE OUT HOME METHOD WITH BRUSHES AND LIQUID SOAP WHEN I GOT IT. Valves plating is not bad but valves have leakeage due to age. Also has a couple of small patches like one around the pipe coming into 1st valve , brass correction of the leg of 1st slide and some soldering and possible also leg correction on the 2nd slide. 2nd slide was greased with heavier grease so it sits better and tighter in the slides pipes. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! The pipe coming out from 3rd valve has a crack not all the way where silver line is missing but I put a scotch tape to cover a leak and please see other area near water valve I did not put tape there dont see crack there but might be a hairline crack. You can put a tape there as well. If you wanna work on this flugel I recommend a brass patch going from 3rd valve area on the interior of that pipe towards bottom pipe brace which brass person could install? It all depends how much you will play? ! Or if its just for a collection? IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK AS SALE IS FINAL. Bell has small crease on top edge not all the way around but hard to notice. You can see it on bell photo. Engraving is crisp and silver plating appears to be original factory. Leadpipe appears to be original French taper. Compression is good / fair. Please notice bottom caps have bottom holes opened and one finger bottom is slightly smaller than other 2 but matches pretty well. There are few dings on the bell pipe around no major dents. Price is on the higher end due to historic nature as well as very early serial range. These two factors go together and it is a collectors item for sure and rare. NOTE : If you are looking for a perfect playing flugelhorn please go to my other listing and at the similar price range i have modern Schilke 1040FL but if you like a horn with a vintage charm then this Selmer js for you. Horn comes with very secure modern flugel case in which fits like in a glove. Case / gig case is sturdy and light and has handles and backpacks straps. NEED RESIDENCE OR BUSINESS ADDRESS. There is light teethmarks on the beak and minor scuffs on the body; no notable issues that would affect playability. Engravings are crisp: “Henri Selmer Paris / C / Jazz”. Vintage Original Silver Plate Selmer Paris New Large Bore Super Alto, Serial #13689. This is a vintage Selmer Paris New Large Bore Super alto sax in satin silver, serial number 13689. The body of the sax is in beautiful condition showing off the burnished silver finish around the bell deco as well as the keys. Its bell flare also show cases a lovely gold wash. The body of the alto is about as nice as it gets with no history of major repair and no re-solders. Its bell, body tube, bow and bow cap are all in terrific shape. Its neck is also in excellent original condition and has never been pulled down. These early vintage Supers are fantastic free blowing players and tend to be warmer then the Balanced Action models that were made later. This one is currently playing down to a low Bb on older pads. If you are looking to do serious playing on the sax it will ultimately need to be re-padded. It is always a nice treat to find a silver Super in such nice condition. Vintage Henri Selmer Paris Radial Trumpet Silver Plate withcase and mouthpiece

Silver and Brass Music Shop is a brick-and-mortar brass instrument restoration and repair shop located in Carson City, NV. This is a vintage Henri Selmer Paris Radial trumpet (serial number 64414). The bore of the horn is medium-large at. The bell is 5. This horn plays very well. The valves are in excellent condition with great compression–the compression is so good that the valves will require a break-in period before they move at top speed, just like a brand new horn. The slides all move, of course. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, there are a couple of minuscule dings as well as a few areas of missing silver plate on the horn as well as a few areas of very light scratching and very light pitting. The inside of the bell flare has some scratches on it as well. The bell engraving reads: HENRI/ SELMER/ PARIS/ SELMER/ MADE IN FRANCE/ ®. The leadpipe has ML stamped on the mouthpiece receiver. All the imperfections are visible in the pictures, and none of it affects the playability of the horn. This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop, and all the valve felts and water key corks were replaced. This trumpet comes with a mouthpiece in good condition, and a somewhat worn hardshell case. All horns are located at Silver & Brass Music Shop. Original Silver Plate Five Digit Vintage Selmer Paris Mark VI Soprano, Serial #86588 High F#. Mark VI Soprano Original Silver Plate This is an outstanding original silver plate Selmer Paris Mark VI soprano sax with high F#, serial #86588. It has a bit of brighter sound to the way it plays and is very flexible. The core sound of the soprano has a rich spread to it. When it comes to resonance and a complex sound character this soprano is a 10 out of 10. This instrument can be played in a sweet subdued manner and can also take in as much air as you can give it. The previous owner of the soprano played it professionally all over the world and kept it in good service during the time he owned it. Right now it is setting on a really nice set of leather pads and brown plastic resonators. There has also been some custom molding done around the thumb rest and palm keys in order to facilitate an easy reach and comfort. The body of the soprano is in very good physical condition showing some modest play wear for a 1960 vintage. There is a little finish wear around the octave key and some light scratching here and there but nothing serious. It does not show signs of ever having received major repair in the past. There are zero re-solders on this sax but the marching lyre mount has been permanently removed (see picture 18) There is a little bit of wear around the outer bell flare, most likely from placement on a sax stand. This soprano is currently in the Saxquest shop receiving a professional set-up and ships in perfect playing condition. These early Mark VI sopranos are great players and are getting harder to come by in original condition like this. Please see the stated policies on our website for more details.
