Created by Mark J Scearce for the Scearce Wakefield Gallery of Shelbyville Kentucky, each cup is manufactured by hand and patterned a cup that was originally made in 1795, right down to the beading along the edge. Each one is marked on the bottom with the initials of a President of the United States, which dates each cup for posterity. This one is marked with Richard M. Comes packaged in a cloth silver bag. The cup is 4″ tall and 3.5″ in diameter at the mouth, and weighs 6 ounces. Item is used and in good condition, with some tarnish, visible in photos.
