1923 Holton Revelation Trumpet with two main and six valve tuning slides for both key of Bb & A (like two trumpets in one) that is in EXCELLENT CONDITION for being nearly 100 years old! It has a reversed lead pipe and an innovative way of setting and retaining the main tuning slide (see photos). This beautiful silver plated vintage trumpet is MADE IN USA by highly skilled craftsmen. This hand crafted trumpet plays and sounds absolutely amazing! Included is the original Frank Holton & Co. Trumpet restoration included meticulously cleaning and polishing all components and mouthpiece, as well as replacing all of the corks (for water keys and valves) and the felts (for valves and finger buttons). As for the original case, I replaced the old case handle with a new steel-reinforced black leather handle (note that photos were taken prior to receiving the new handle that was specifically ordered for this case). Although the original case itself is still functional, it has performed well its task of transporting and protecting this beautiful trumpet for nearly a century, so it is only what I would consider as acceptable condition (see last photo). I personally tested, cleaned and lubricated this beautiful trumpet. I hereby certify that it is fully-functional. Typical of any vintage trumpet, there are a few dings and imperfections (as shown in photos), but they are only aesthetic and have no effect on the excellent performance of this amazing trumpet!
