VINTAGE RARE SILVER COLIBRI KICKSTART ORIGINAL PETROL POCKET LIGHTER ART DECO C1931. Offered for sale is this vintage Colibri Original kickstart pocket petrol/wick lighter. This lighter is in good but slightly used condition with a plain finish. This has a kickstart arm and a good spring action. The liftarm and body are nickel silver plated. There is some slight loss of plating around the kickstart arm actuator button. The lighter is in used condition with the original fuel screw and flint screw fitments. The fuel screw also has a spare flint chamber. There are no dings or dents. The lighter measures 49mm high x 39mm wide x 13.5mm deep. The base is marked COLIBRI patent with the British patent number 321323 so is approx. 1933 or slightly later and of Swiss manufacture. Vintage 1914 Gillette ABC Pocket Edition Silver Plated Empire Safety Razor Set

The serial number is C547660. The set was triple silver plated at the factory per Gillette. The razor has no bent teeth and the handle is solid brass so there are no cracks. There are some light scratches on top of the head. The threads are fine but the plating is worn with some brass showing a bit on top of the handle and bottom of the head where the handle meets the head. The plating may be getting a tad bit light on the ball end of the handle… Maybe you can see with zoom on the pics? Other than all this the plating looks great. The case hinges and lock mechanism work fine. On the exterior there is a small dent from the inside you can see in pic 11, Also, a small ding on top right corner of the name plate pic 10. Some light scratches top and bottom and the plating may be getting a little worn through on front latch button but other than that, I think the exterior looks great with some minor spots of patina. The interior is great as well, still plush with some minor wear and small tear bottom left. Blade case works fine with some light scratches and very small ding on one side of the lid.
