0504 Grouse Menu Holders. A set of six silver plated cast metal place card or personal menu holders. They are modelled as grouse and set on oval bases. To the far side are rounds with cut outs, and they would be used on the dinner table to hold a name card or a small menu. To the underside there are two marks, but they are somewhat difficult to decipher, perhaps being an S and a C. The box is not original, and is probably earlier than the holders which appear to be post war onwards in date. They are nicely modelled and very sweet as you can see. Card holders all in good order with no significant faults. Box is rather tatty and also does not appear original to the holders.
