The Masi came to me as a frame with BB and front derailleur. It was built using as correct parts as possible. The bike is a standout whether as a rider or as an addition to a collection. The framebuilder Brian Bayliss commented to an earlier owner that he did the filing on the lugs when he worked at Masi. And, although he could not remember if Mario Confente had actually worked on the bike, he said he was in the shop when this was built. Further the twin plate fork crown is, a jewel; pun intended.
