This Listing is for a Vintage Set of 12 CHRISTOFLE Silver-Plated Dessert Knives from the Marly Collection. The Knives are still individually bagged and together the set of 12 are in the Original Factory Sealed Plastic. Needless to say, all the Silver-Plated Knives are in Perfect Condition. Each Dessert Knife measures about 7 1/2 inches long. Here is a description of the Dessert Knife taken from the Christofle website. The silver-plated dessert knife in the Marly pattern can be paired with a dessert spoon and fork to be used with. Desserts, salads or starters. Marly, named after a no-longer-standing pleasure palace built by Louis XIV outside. Paris, has been one of the most detailed and ornate patterns in the Christofle’s catalog since it was created in 1897. Large Antique French Silver Plated Serving Platter by Boulenger Later. By Christofle in 1938 In the Louis XIV / Marly / Rocaille Pattern. For your consideration is a beautiful large silver plated tray by Boulenger No monograms or engraving, plating is still bright, there however some usual surface marks and utensil scratches to the bed of the tray. You will receive the tray pictured, we have matching trays also listed in the same pattern. Full Boulenger marks, Plating is still bright, apologies for any reflections. Bottle of wine shown, is not included, this is shown to give you an idea of scale. Approx Unpacked Weight: 1590g Approx Size 46cm x 29cm Approx. Boulenger Silver flatware is an excellent example of 19th-century French silverware. The elegant lines and artistic embellishments, which often feature elaborate floral and geometric designs, add a stunning design flair to any table setting. Much of Boulenger flatware is silver plated, and is of a high quality, so much so the firm was acquired by Christofle some time after 1938. The goldsmith’s house was founded in 1810 in Paris under the name of Hautin, and continued by the nephew of the founder Adolphe Boulenger who gave it the name of A. Boulenger & Cie, 4 rue du Vert Bois in Paris. On his death in 1898, his son Charles Boulenger succeeded him and the goldsmith’s house took the name of Ch. DESCRIPTION : Nice Set of Authectic Dinner Forks with 8 Total Pieces in Silverplate by Cristofle Made in France. The item is signed/marked as “Cristofle France” with Orfevrerie Maker Hallmarks. This would make a great display piece, add to set or collection, resell in your shop, wonderful gift, or use it! Forks are 8″ inches long and 1″ inch wide. CONDITION: Good pre-owned condition with some minor surface flaws only. Some very minor surface marks, wear, scratches/scuffs, aging/tarnishing to metal, and imperfections from age and prior use. May have orignally had a gold wash on it that has since faded or worn off in many spots or if not it has some tarnishing from age. Nice pieces overall with NO significant flaws.
