Gents Vintage Roamer De Luxe Jumbo 35mm Rare Dial Gold Plated Watch – Serviced. Condition – Great condition overall, case has minor surface scratching. Dial has a few marks and some againg to fingers. Plexiglass has been professionally polished minor surface scratching may remain. Tested and keeping good time, recently serviced by my local watch maker. Gender – Men’s. Features – reflective batons and jumbo dial. Country of manufacture – Swiss. Movement – manual wind. An extremely sort after Omega Constellation Jumbo gold plated Automatic watch which features a date aperture. Fitted to a beautiful brown leather strap. The watch has been redialled to factory standard. The highly reliable automatic 565 Calibre movement has recently been serviced. The gold and black baton markers are a striking contrast on the silver dial. The back case has a refitted emblem which is discoloured. Servicing the movement requires detailed and precise work, the dial and the hands are removed along with the mechanism (which consist of over 100 parts). Prior to reassembling every part is pre-treated, thoroughly cleaned. Once the watch has been carefully assembled it is then placed onto a timing machine to examine the timekeeping, usually, there are several tweaks involved to ensure the timing keeping exceeds expectations. For your consideration is a extremely rare rose gold plated 37mm Omega Cosmic triple calendar moonphase dress watch. No box or papers. This dial has been previously nicely refinished perhaps decades ago with original pink gold Arabic number indexes, blue outer calendar track, and aperture for the moonphase. Beautiful original hands compliment. The aperture for the day of week and month is in the Portuguese language. The case original in polished 80 microns 18K pink gold plating with new replacement acrylic crystal (the older crystal was cracked and heavily scratched), original Omega crown and snap pressure case back. There is wear and use throughout the case from over 70 years of use. Mostly on the lugs we see some knocks and scratches. The case measures a large 37mm size. This is the largest of the Cosmic models. All the pushers for the calendar system are original and work properly. The case is complimented by a black French crocodile style leather strap and gold tone buckle. The band is beautiful and of high grade quality. The movement is a high grade Omega cal. 27 DL PC 17 jewel manual wind triple calendar moonphase movement. This movement was just recently serviced by us and is working beautifully.
