This large silver plate lazy susan pairs form, function and style. The reticulated tray swivels easily and holds a glass liner with a daisy pattern. The tray is marked Wm Rogers. Both lazy susan and liner are in very good condition with no chips cracks or breaks. The tray has a stylish gadroon edge and the glass liner is cut with the daisy pattern from the back. Quite a lovely & ingenious table top server this is indeed! These small antique servers are refrigerated food keepers! Filling the lower bowl chamber (beneath the insert dish) with ice chips provides. Refrigeration to food placed atop the insert dish for hours (when replacing ice chips)! Victorian/Art Deco style ribbed/fluted embossed design to the dome lid. And exquisite embossed details to all 4 legs & lion clawed base feet. The overall silver plating has slightly faded to a light yellowish brass. The interior has no corrosion, pitting or stains. Original insert dish with beautiful pierced leaf designs. VINTAGE OCCUPIED GERMAN CUT CRYSTAL AND SILVERPLATE PITCHER With GLASS ICE INSERT
VINTAGE OCCUPIED GERMAN CUT CRYSTAL AND SILVERPLATE PITCHER W/ GLASS ICE INSERT. Very impressive cut crystal and silverplate pitcher with glass ice insert. The large, simple cuts create great optic effects. Combined with the simple, clean lines of the silverplate accents, this is a beautiful modernist piece. Pitcher measures approximately 7″ diameter at its widest and stands 10 3/4″ tall at its highest point. Comes with a glass insert to hold ice. Overall condition is very good. No cracks or chips were observed to the crystal or the glass insert. Some surface scratches to the bottom of the pitcher commensurate with age and use. Silverplate parts are securely attached. The hindged lid and the silverplate parts of the insert are in good working condition. There is some loss of plating on the lid and handle. Welcome to A ntiques & Moore! This listing is for a gorgeous antique/vintage silver plate covered cheese dish with wooden insert. Beautiful embossed design on both cover and tray. This gorgeous cheese dish is in excellent condition with no noted damage to the body. Nice clean wood insert/cutting board. There is an embossed mark on the top of the wooden insert possibly with maker’s name, however, it is worn and we could not read it. The silver plate body is a very high q uality piece of vintage silver plate. Measures 6 1/2″ high, 10 1/2″ long and 9 wide. Weighs 3.0 pounds.
