The valves are in excellent condition with great compression–the compression is so good that the valves will require a break-in period before they move at top speed, just like a brand new horn. The slides all move, of course. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, there are a couple of minuscule dings as well as a few areas of missing silver plate on the horn as well as a few areas of very light scratching and very light pitting. The inside of the bell flare has some scratches on it as well. The bell engraving reads: HENRI/ SELMER/ PARIS/ SELMER/ MADE IN FRANCE/ ®. The leadpipe has ML stamped on the mouthpiece receiver. All the imperfections are visible in the pictures, and none of it affects the playability of the horn. This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop, and all the valve felts and water key corks were replaced. This trumpet comes with a mouthpiece in good condition, and a somewhat worn hardshell case. All horns are located at Silver & Brass Music Shop.
