This bold beaded necklace was completely handmade during the Art Deco Retro period. It features a strand of graduated sterling silver plated hollow beads, that were all made using the repoussé technique. The strand largely consists of oval barrel beads, with accentuating shaped beads strung throughout. The shaped beads consist of flatter, more disc-like beads and spherical beads that were hand-hammered to have a contoured texture. These contours catch the light for an added bit of shine. Each bead was hand strung on a sturdy cable chain, making this a very secure necklace indeed. The necklace is very typical of the Retro style, with big, bold, geometric shapes.
