This Listing is for Vintage, Mid-Century Modern, FB Rogers Plated Copper Lazy Susan (model 7722) with an Ornate Dome Top. And the Three Original Scallop Glass Inserts. We believe this was made sometime in the 1950s or 60s, but we’re not able to give an exact date. There is nothing – chips, scratches, etc. That mars this piece. It is in Excellent condition. Vintage Silverplate Lazy Susan with Glass Insert, Silverplate Tray
This large silver plate lazy susan pairs form, function and style. The reticulated tray swivels easily and holds a glass liner with a daisy pattern. The tray is marked Wm Rogers. Both lazy susan and liner are in very good condition with no chips cracks or breaks. The tray has a stylish gadroon edge and the glass liner is cut with the daisy pattern from the back. ANTIQUE 20thC EDWARDIAN SILVER PLATED & CUT GLASS TANTALUS c. 1900
Antique early-20th Century Edwardian silver plated locking tantalus. The word tantalize comes from the plight of the mythological Tantalus, who so offended the gods that he was condemned in the afterlife to an eternity of hunger and thirst. He was made to stand in a pool in Tartarus, the Underworld zone of punishment. In the late 19th century spirits such as Scotch, Brandy, Gin were expensive and were kept locked away from the servants of the household. However the fact that they were so visible gave its name tantalus to these items which often would carry two or three decanters. These decanters are in great condition made with cut crystal glass. An extremely elegant manner to treat your guests and a great conversation piece or simply a superb gift and a must have item during the festive holidays. WMF Magnificent Silver Plated Cranberry Crystal Glass Epergne Centrepiece c1886
Magnificent WMF Silver Plated Cranberry Crystal Glass Epergne Centerpiece. Dated : 1886 – 1894. Weight : 2.240 Grams approximately. Here we have a magnificent 4 piece cranberry crystal glass epergne centrepiece, its in amazing condition with all for of the crystal glass epergne in perfect condition, no damage whatsoever. It was made by WMF between 1886 and before 1894, it does have a stamp on the epergne holders NS, nickel silver, with the main WMF stamp situated on the underside of the base. It displays wonderfully and definitely has the look, this piece was made before the Art Nouveau period, however with such designs, its obvious where art nouveau had its inspiration. It does dismantle easily, with its main classical style frame unscrews from the base, each epergne holder also has a screw in fitting to the main frame, its a very sturdy and substantial piece. Its beautifully made, very intricate workmanship on the main frame and base, an absolutely piece from the makers WMF. Height : 58cm or 23 inches. Width : 33cm or 13 inches. Base Diameter : 17cm or 6.7 inches. Weight : 2.240 Grams. No dents or dints or nasty scratches, there is a little discolouration on the underside of the base, but very minimal. All threads (screw fitting) are perfect and without any play, base is straight and true, no wobbles. The crystal glass Epergne are all perfect, no nibbles , chips or cracks, even the fitting stems are undamaged. Amazing condition, especially a piece thats 140 years old approx.
