Repousse flowers, leaves and swirls. Soft kid leather pocket to hold the dance cards. Two change slots and another covered area to hold round cream rouge and compact makeup. We are attributing this to be from France as we were told it came from. A French war bride’s family. Nice big size, measures approx. 4 1/2″ H x 2 7/8″ W x 3/8 thick. 9 overall, just enough room for your hand to slip in. Condition is good except: some lovely patina with the copper/brass coming through on the tips of the flowers and some higher areas on the outside. One coin section is missing the springy middle. The silver needs to be polished inside if so desired. Weighs 148.4 grams.
