ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED CORINTHIAN PILLARED NELSONS COLUMN TABLE LAMP WITH HALLMARKS. A stunning vintage silver plated Corinthian pillared Nelson’s column table lamp. A very well made and beautifully cast lamp, the silver plating is of a very high standard, Ive seen few table lamps of this quality, they are also a great investment. The plating has rubbed off a bit on the base as shown in nearly all of the photos. I have rewired this with 3 core Italian braided cable and a new plug. The on/off switch is built into the bulbholder and works perfectly. It is fully earthed so would pass a pat test. Width:- 11cm square. Good looking, nicely detailed Corinthian column sliver plated candle stick e. It was made maybe mid century or earlier? Very good vintage condition. It has a very slight lean not noticeable until one looks at it from certain sides. See images #2 & #5. Also so some “flea bits” on the fluted part of the column. See image #8, #9 & # 10. Two small digs at of the base corners. See image #11, that is the biggest of the two. In working order now. And added a new plug (see image # 12), due to the fact that over time the electric wire had worked its way off the socket. This will not happen again due to that I. The lead in the socket and now because of this t. He lead now is. Total height – about 15 5/8. Column height – 12 1/4. Base – 4 3/4″ X 4 3/4″. Weight – 3 lb. Antique Vintage Pair Striking Silver Plated Candlesticks Roman Corinthian Column These are weighted and heavy – one candlestick weighs 1443 grams and the other 1550 grams. They measure 29.5cm tall and the bases measure 12.5cm x 12.5cm. I have not cleaned these – they are exactly as I found them. Condition is overall good – there is a small amount of creasing on one candlestick – see last photo. They could use a good polish. Great pair of very striking antique authentic candlesticks.
