Here we have a fantastic HUGE oval twin handled silver plated butlers champagne/drinks serving tray. This beautiful tray has a crossed swords makers mark which I don’t recognise, I would imagine this was would date to somewhere around the early to mid 20th century. It has a wonderful engraved pattern featuring leaves/foliage/scrolls and is finished with gadrooned/ribbed border and grand handles showing leaves and fleur de lys motif. As you can see from the photos it would comfortably hold several champagne glasses as well as bottle/bucket etc. As well as the kitchen sink haha! This would be perfect for a stately home, a special occasion or wedding company offering champagne on arrival. The tallest is 11-1/2″ tall, the shortest is about 10″. Various makers, four of them are unbranded, but one is marked “1779” Eales? , another is International Silver Company, two are Leonard, and one is a Gorham, from the Heritage line. The Gorham has two small dents in the top rim, the largest is shown in the last photo. All the rest are in good condition. No other major defects. No loose bases or broken handles. A couple of them have very attractive patina, including one with an incredible cobalt blue color. The patina isn’t perfect, (and they might all end up getting polished anyway, depending on your preference). These will all be carefully packaged and you will receive them as shown. Vintage men’s Bulova automatic (self-winding) watch, champagne dial with seconds hand and date window. Note the lovely Bulova ballerina etched on the case back. The watch is in lovely vintage condition and working well. The automatic movement is in ticking order and kept good time in our time test. The watch is in very good overall condition. Note some patina and specs on the dial. The crystal has some minor scratching and a small nick in the rim of the glass near the six position (this looks worse in the photo than in real life). The case has some minor wear. The date indicator is working and rolls over automatically (to change the date; pull out the crown and turn clockwise). The case is around 40 mm (measured from lug to lug) by around 34 mm (not including the crown). Fitted with an expandable vintage Speidel silver tone metal bracelet (around 21 cm when un-expanded and including the watch). We time test all our watches to ensure they are keeping reasonably accurate time. However, we do not test them to the second and we cannot guarantee their timekeeping.
