Handsome six piece vintage Coffee Service with coffee pot (hinged lid, 3.2 lbs), 11.25 tall, water pitcher, 2.8 lbs. 9.25″ tall, creamer, 1.2 lbs, 6″ tall, and sugar with separate lid, 1.4 lbs, 6.25 tall. Each of the serving pieces is adorned with accurate representations of the Daffodil. This set has been packed and put away for many years and it showed very little tarnish. This tray was cleaned recently. There is a small absence of silver plating on the mouth of the pitcher, above and to the left of the handle. Probably a production error. It does not appear to be scratched, and is almost unnoticeable. The tray is carefully designed to also incorporate actual features of the Daffodil plant. There are accurate representations of the daffodil blossom, with buds, on all four corners of the tray. The tray weighs seven pounds, is 23.5″ long, and 14.5″ wide, and has an engraved body. The handles are the design of the leaves of the daffodil flower. Each of the serving pieces has a level that is midway down the body. The silver daffodils continue on all four corners of each piece. I have included a photo of the maker’s mark from the reverse of the tray. I have also included a photo of the water pitcher “flaw” (above and to the left of the pitcher handle).
