This professional trumpet is in overall very good playing condition , with the silver plate being about 90% good and only a couple of very tiny dents. The plating has some slight wear along the lead pipe and along the bottom of valves 1 and 2, these are areas where its been held etc , this amounts to about the 10% silver loss, bearing in mind this trumpet will have had quite some professional playing in it’s life. The valves are light and responsive , and all slides pull and pop. Anyone reading or showing interest in this instrument will know that along with the Recording model these were the flagship / top of the olds range, particularly around the mid 1960s when this one was built [serial no 611898]. The case whilst it is an olds case it is not the original one for this horn , and while it is strong / sound / secure , it is quite tatty and could do with some tlc , cleaning etc. The mouthpiece is an excellent Conn 7c in almost as new condition.
