ANTIQUE REED & BARTON SILVER PLATED COFFEE POT URN PITCHER PATENT 1872 VINTAGE. This antique silver plated Reed & Barton coffee pitcher is used and has some wear. It is clean and in nice shape. The silver plate has some wear and hasnt been polished. There is a dent that is about 1 inch on the back and a small dent underneath that. Ive taken a detailed photo of it. There are also two dents towards the bottom of the pitcher on the side. The pitcher sits in the base and tips forward to pour. It does sit a little bit off centered. I added a detailed photo of that s well. The insert looks to be porcelain and is in nice shape. It is also marked on the bottom. The lid of the pitcher screws on and also flips open once its secured. There is a goose or a swan on top of the lid and there is another larger bird on the back handle. There are also two bearded faces on either side of the pitcher. The base is marked and has the number 1612 with a large makers mark with a large G with a bee in the middle and an eye on top and a sun below. The pitcher is also marked. It has 1619 on it and has multiple patent dated listed. They are April 6, 1858, August 4, 1868, November 17 1868, and April 6th 1872. It also says Extended 7 Years.
