For your consideration–Antique Early-Century Gillette Single Ring Combination Set. This Set comes with a Very Nice Silver Plated–Brass Handle 3-Piece Single Ring Razor; 2 Talc Canisters; 2 Razor Blade Holders; and 5 Gillette Green Wrapper Razor Blades–In the original wrappers and 4 Each Used 3 Hole Razor Blades. See Descriptions and Conditions Below (See Pictures). DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS: (I hope I do this razor set justice in my descriptions below). SILVER PLATED/BRASS SINGLE RING RAZOR: This razor is in good vintage-used condition. There are some light scratches on the head and minor plate loss around the edges of the head. This razor has two very small stress cracks–so small I had a hard time getting a picture; and, they do not impede the function of this razor. I can not find a Serial Number anywhere on this razor. This razor has the following printed on the underside of the Guard Bar: Gillette Diamond Logo–and–MADE IN USA. THE CASE: This case looks like it was made less than 1 year ago—Not Over 100 years ago!!! The only faults I can find with this case are a small crease-line at the front, above the snap and minor paint loss to the Snap Button. The Snap works as designed/manufactured. The Velvet/Velour on the inside bottom is perfect. The Satin on the inside lid is also perfect–and the Print on the Inside of this case is very prominent and crisp!! THE RAZOR BLADE HOLDERS: Excellent Condition–No Paint/Print Loss!!! THE TALC CANISTERS: I have seen other sets where these canisters were silver plated. These have almost a dull shine with brass tinge accents—I know that sounds Oxi-Moronic; but that is what I see. There are not dents/dings. There are some age related spots on the inside of these canisters. RAZOR BLADES: You will receive 5 Unused Gillette Green Wrapper Razor Blades–Still in their original wrappers, and 4 Used Gillette 3-Hole Razor Blades. I have made no attempt the clean this razor–The only thing I did to this razor, when I got it, was give it a warm soapy bath. Further cleaning and sterilization should be accomplished, by someone more knowledgeable than me, before display/use. When I found this case and contents the Snap was Snapped Shut. I Unsnapped It–Snapped It Back–Then Unsnapped It Again. I have left it Unsnapped since that day. You will receive it Unsnapped. Measurements: See Pictures for Case Measurements–5″ X 4″.
