Fresh from the local high end Cape Cod estate we offer you this 7 pieces fine vintage Birmingham Silver Co silver plate tea coffee set with tray. It is in very good pre-owned condition with tarnish and some wear, one handle on the tray has a crack as shown. The tray measures 30″ long handle to handle and 25″ by 19 without handles. Samovar stands 15 3/4″ high with the stand and 11″ high without, the stand is 6 1/2 in diameter on the base. Teapot measures 10 3/4″ high to the top of the lid and 10 3/4″ wide from spout to handle. Coffee pot measures 11 1/2″ high to the top of the lid and about 12″ from spout to the handle. All pieces are marked as shown. Vintage Danish Carl Christensen Margit silver plate cutlery set. This stylish silver plated set is in very good condition. The pieces are marked to the backs CC in a crown for Carl C Christensen have the Danish quality torch mark used since 1932. The pieces are Danish and in the popular pattern called Margit. The set is for 6 people and comprises 6 faux bone handle dinner knives, 6 faux bone handled entree knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 entree/bread and butter forks, 6 tablespoons, 6 teaspoons, 3 small meat forks, 3 jam spoon and a gravy ladle. The knives are not original and have been added to complete the set. They are marked Paramount Made in Sheffield. All the pieces have fine scratches from use and storage. The plating is bright and shiny. The set weighs over 1.5 kilos. A handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
